Hello, My Name is John a.k.a Facts. I am a part of Chalkline Records which was created in 1998. Chalkline Records is not as big as it used to be but still promotes independent artists to create real music and tap into thier creative nature. I also used to go by the name of 2-Face but had to change it due to a DJ in my town who took the name public. Anyways I reside in Boston MA. I consider myself a real artist. I do some commercial songs but that to me is not music. An ape could make noises over a beat and I am sure someone would listen. Hell I think the current turn of today's music clearly reflects that it can happen. I believe in putting things I have lived and felt in the moments of my life in music. There is nothing greater than making a song and going back and listening to it and it takes you back to that exact moment in your life and you feel those same feelings you had at that time. I think alot of artists today need to take the same pride in thier work. I am sorry but the club, bitches, gangsta's and hoes is really not my idea of music. Infact it is not music! Anyways I hope you can relate to what I am doing here and appreciate it. Feel free to leave me a comment. I may not get back to it or get to check your tracks but I do read every single comment. Refer to the above sections it should sum it up.Have you performed in front of an audience?I have played shows a long, long time ago. I have not performed in quite some time. I am not in it for the money of the fame. don't get me wrong money and a little fame is never a bad thing but I am a humble person doing my own thing. something comes my way then it is time to consider. I am not breaking my back trying to "blow up" or trying to move with current music trends. I love to perform but we will say its been awhile.
Your musical influences
I like Jay-Z I love his style and his creativeness. hes a little commercial now but his great work over the years can not be ignored. everyone strays now and agian. anyways I also like Eminems earlier work. Jadakiss. Beanie Sigel, Styles P. and there are many more I am just generalizing.What equipment do you use?

20 years later and still dope
